John Hewitt is sponsoring a new 9th place prize for the Wednesday Evening Bassin’ tournaments this year. We will be paying $100,00 to the 9th place team in addition to the already eight places.

For those teams that paid the $500.00 deposit to hold a place in the Super 30 tournaments the balance ($200.00 for each event) is due prior to the Boat Draw for each tournament. Here is the schedule:

Hi everyone!!!!!
Some Exciting News for the 2008 season!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The permits are in and we are accepting entries for our nine events on Lake Minnetonka in 2008.

We will be filming both the Super 30 Tournament and the Wednesday Evening Bassin’ tournaments and have a YEAR-END TV SHOW that will cover them together. What a great chance for you to be on TV and give your sponsors something extra.

The “Team of the Year” will be replaced by a “YEAR END SHOOT OUT” event. This will be a tournament for the top teams with a guaranteed $10,000.00 purse. All ten teams will get a check and the “Shoot Out” will be NO ENTRY FEE. We will take the top eight teams from the Super 30 circuit and the top two teams from the Wednesday Evening Bassin’ tournaments to field ten teams on Lake Minnetonka on September 15 for this terrific event.

We have guaranteed a minimum of 100% pay back of your entry fees for the Super 30 tournaments in cash and prizes.
Our sponsors have stepped up in a big way to make this possible.

I’d make plans now to get your entry in early as this could fill very easy with the 50-team maximum we have for all of these tournaments. You have two ways to qualify for the “Year End Shoot Out”. Give yourself the best odds by fishing both the Super 30 and Wednesday Evening Bassin’ tournaments in 2008.

The 2007 Super 30 season had some interesting facts. We had five different winners of the five tournaments. The winners were: Conrad Guttenfelder & Bruce Hallanger – Cody Zdrazil & Dusty Mahn – Joe & Guy Feldmann – Steve Lee & Ron Feyo – Mark & Shane Raveling. We also had five different Ranger Cup winners: Brad Cline & Jeff Bosshardt – Brad Leuthner & Ted Capra – Joe & Guy Feldmann – Bob Hennen & Todd Doege – Mark & Shane Raveling. We also had 18 different teams in the money, which is over 40% of the teams that fished. I guess Minnetonka has more winners than what some of us think.

I’m excited about 2008 and hope you will be too.
Start making your plans now as his will be the best year ever for Denny’s Super 30 Bass Tournaments.

This will be my 20th year of running tournaments and I think this will be the best yet.
